Description: | Summary: Vino VNC Server is prone to a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: Vulnerability is triggered when a VNC client claims to only support protocol version 3.3 and sends malformed data during the authentication selection stage of the authentication process. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow attacker to cause a denial of service. Additionally, after the failure condition has occurred, the log file (~ /.xsession-errors) grows quickly. Affected Software/OS: Vino VNC Server version 3.7.3 and prior.
