Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to improper handling of onload=screen[''] attribute value in BODY element. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page, denial of service can be caused. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation could allow remote attackers to cause the application to crash. Affected Software/OS: Microsoft, Internet Explorer version 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 Beta2 and prior. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
