A remote attacker could use this flaw to make named exit unexpectedly with an assertion failure via a specially crafted DNS packet. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service. Affected Software/OS: ISC BIND versions 9.1.0 through 9.8.4-P2 and 9.9.0 through 9.9.2-P2.
