This VT has been deprecated and replaced by the VT 'Disk Pulse Enterprise Server Buffer Overflow Vulnerability' (OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.25623.1.0.809484). Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to an error when processing web requests and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via an overly long string passed to 'Login' request. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation may allow remote attackers to cause the application to crash, creating a denial-of-service condition. Affected Software/OS: Disk Pulse Enterprise version 9.1.16 and prior. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
