Titel: | Redis 7.0.0 < 7.0.12 Heap Overflow Vulnerability |
Zusammenfassung: | Redis is prone to a heap overflow vulnerability. |
Beschreibung: | Summary: Redis is prone to a heap overflow vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: Extracting key names from a command and a list of arguments may, in some cases, trigger a heap overflow and result in reading random heap memory, heap corruption and potentially remote code execution. Several scenarios that may lead to this result: - Authenticated users executing a specially crafted COMMAND GETKEYS or COMMAND GETKEYSANDFLAGS. - Authenticated users who were set with ACL rules that match key names, executing a specially crafted command that refers to a variadic list of key names. Affected Software/OS: Redis version 7.0.0 through 7.0.11. Solution: Update to version 7.0.12 or later. CVSS Score: 9.0 CVSS Vector: AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C |
