Vulnerability Insight: ISC BIND contains a vulnerability in the processing of large RRSIG RRsets included in a negative cache response. Vulnerability Impact: A remote, unauthenticated attacker can cause the named daemon to crash creating a denial of service condition. Affected Software/OS: ISC BIND versions 9.x prior to 9.7.3-P1, 9.8.x prior to 9.8.0-P2, 9.4-ESV prior to 9.4-ESV-R4-P1 and 9.6-ESV prior to 9.6-ESV-R4-P1.
