Descripción:	Summary: Kingsoft Antivirus is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw exists due to an error in the 'kavfm.sys' driver when processing 'IOCTLs'. This can be exploited to corrupt kernel memory and potentially execute arbitrary code with escalated privileges via a specially crafted 0x80030004 IOCTL. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges and completely compromise the affected computer. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition. Affected Software/OS: Kingsoft Antivirus 2010.04.26.648 and prior. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
