Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow an attacker to bypass security logic intended to ensure that a user-provided URL belonged to a specific hostname or a subdomain of that hostname and run arbitrary code in the context of the current user. Affected Software/OS: - Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, and 4.7.2 on Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 - Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 SP2 Solution: The vendor has released updates.
