Descripción:	Summary: HP (OpenView Storage) Data Protector Manager is prone to a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is caused by an error in the RDS service (rds.exe) when processing malformed packets sent to port 1530/TCP, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash an affected server. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow attackers to cause denial of service condition. Affected Software/OS: HP (OpenView Storage) Data Protector Manager 6.11. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
