Descripción:	Summary: Kaspersky AntiVirus or Workstation is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: This flaw is due to an error in the klim5.sys driver when handling Kernel API calls IOCTL 0x80052110 which can overwrite callback function pointers and execute arbitrary codes into the context of the application. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will let the attacker execute arbitrary codes in the context of the application or may cause privilege escalation. Affected Software/OS: Kaspersky AntiVirus version 7.0.1.325 and prior on Windows. Kaspersky AntiVirus Workstation version 6.0.3.837 and prior on Windows. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
