Multiple flaws are due to:
- Microsoft Excel software fails to properly handle objects in memory.
- Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) application for Mac improperly validates updates
before executing them.
- Microsoft Excel improperly discloses the contents of its memory.
Successful exploitation will allow attackers
to run arbitrary code in the context of the current user and compromise the user's
computer or data.
Microsoft Office 2016 on Mac OS X.
Upgrade to Microsoft Office 2016 version
16.16.0 (Build 18081201) or later. Please see the references for more information.
