Description: | Summary: This host is running QNX RTOS and is prone to remote code execution vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to error in 'QCONN' when handling the crafted requests. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted packet sent to port 8000. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service condition and compromise the system. Affected Software/OS: QNX version 6.5.0 and prior Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
