The IBM Developer Kit for Linux, Java 2 Technology Edition, contains the
developer kit and runtime environment for building, deploying, and running
Java 2 applications and applets.
IBM Java 1.3.1 SR2 has severe regressions in Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
functionality including memory leaks, issues which necessitate restarting
the JVM every few hours, and performance issues.
Users are advised to upgrade to these errata packages containing IBM Java
1.3.1 SR5 which correct these issues.
