QNAP QTS is prone to a multiple vulnerabilities.
The following vulnerabilities exist:
- Command Injection which could allow remote attackers to run arbitrary commands on the NAS. (CVE-2018-14746)
- NULL Pointer Dereference which could allow remote attackers to crash the NAS media server. (CVE-2018-14747)
- Improper Authorization which could allow remote attackers to power off the NAS. (CVE-2018-14748)
- Buffer Overflow which could have unspecified impact on the NAS. (CVE-2018-14749)
Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to run arbitrary commands on
the NAS, crash the NAS media server, power off the NAS or have other unspecified impact on the NAS.
QNAP QTS 4.2.6 build 20180829 and earlier versions, 4.3.3 build 20180829 and earlier versions
and 4.3.4 build 20181008 and earlier versions and 4.3.5 build 20181013 and earlier versions.
Update to version 4.2.6 build 20181026, 4.3.3 build 20181029,
4.3.4 build 20181026 or 4.3.5 build 20181110 respectively.
