Zip Code Spy

What is this

As our web crawlers crawl the web, they make note of any zipcodes associated with addresses found on web sites. Each month, this data is recorded and made available through this interface, as well as being used in our custom reports.

What is it used for?

You can use this service to determine:

companies that are publishing addresses in a given geographical area
companies with multiple offices.

Methodology

Each month our general crawlers visit several million web sites and index the zip codes that have been found on these sites. Our crawlers are designed to crawl the web roughly once a year, and as such we visit ~10% of the sites in our survey each month. When you issue a query using this interface, you are querying data recorded during the last 12 months.
