What is this

Since 1998, our crawlers have been crawling the web making note of web sites, the domain names within these sites, the name servers for these domains, the mail servers, IP addresses for all of the above, and recording this into our database. This capability has formed the basis of our free research reports.

When you enter an IP address in the above form, we look in our database and report on all of the services we found. This capability spans the entire globe, across ALL top level domains. Because the information is based on our survey methodology, you will find that we report on only a subset of all possible sites and domains. Most notably, parked domains and web sites not referenced by anyone are almost always excluded.

What is it used for?

You can use this service to determine:

Shared hosting sites that share a specific IP address. See who else is hosted on the same IP that you are.
Mail hosting. See how many domains are handled by a given mail server.
Phishing/Scam sites. Often these are hosted on the same or similar addresses. If you find one, by entering the IP address of it and or neighbouring IP addresses you may find a bunch more.
